Learning CSS: the introduction

· By Faruk Ateş · Dec 15, 2005

In life, there are generally two options you have when you want to learn something: either you learn by reading all the available material, or you learn in a practical, trial-by-error manner through simply doing it. Both have their advantages and disadvantages, but when it comes to learning CSS, the method that I consider works best is the latter approach, also known as the Nike way: just do it. My Learning CSS project is to help you do exactly that.

If you're already getting excited, please be forewarned: this project is not running yet! Thanks to a plethora of reasons, I've been unable to properly prepare this project's launch. However, my recent change in career means that pretty soon I finally will have the time I need to get this thing off the ground.

Until then, I'm saving my time writing descriptions and explanations on how this will work exactly. You'll see when the time comes.

Most of the pictures used in the headers were taken in the Minnesota Twin Cities area. One single picture was taken during a trip to Sweden by train, the last four are from the author's hometown area of Zoeterwoude, The Netherlands.
