What2019s in a name?
Subject level: Intermediate
The collectively produced sIFR is great fun, but not for me. I have my gripes with it, and it has bugs I'm not willing to ignore. But sometimes, bugs can be fun to encounter.
I've had my set of gripes with sIFR ever since it first appeared on Shaun's site. Revision after revision, I'm still finding issues with it that are more than enough reason for me, personally, to not use it. It's a great, great product, don't get me wrong, but it's just not for me the way it is. However, today I coincidentally encountered a "problem" with sIFR that just made me smile.
"What2019s in a name?" If this confuses you, just go to Andrei's post, "Low Priced Andrei" and scroll down a bit, then look at the source of the page. That sIFR thing can be fun from time to time. Time to file a bug report with Mark about that, eh?
Update: Mark pointed out to me that it's a version of Flash that causes the faulty translation. Guess I should upgrade, or perhaps not. I don't mind being amused by this from time to time. :-)
